SEVENTY PALMS was founded in 2020 by two sisters looking to reenvision the design of outdoor living spaces through the lens of restoration, regeneration, and resiliency.

What began as a multi artistic studio, at full tilt evolved into a Boutique Landscape Design Firm that specializes in verdant, tropical landscapes and biophilic design installations. Utilizing ornamental, native, and edible plant palettes, SEVENTY PALMS places emphasis on site-specific design to achieve aesthetic and function, while maximizing ecological benefit.

SEVENTY PALMS creates spaces that encourage exploration and forge connections with the natural environment. Central to the practice is a desire to educate and equip others to responsibly steward the land and waterways we call home.

Jessica is an innovative entrepreneur and former consultant, driving SEVENTY PALMS long-term strategy and overseeing all of its business operations. 

JULIA MURRAY

CO-FOUNDER

A high-end Landscape Designer by métier, Julia is a graduate of The Mason School of Business at The College of William & Mary and holds a dual degree in social entrepreneurship and environmental policy. She studied sustainable agriculture systems in the Dominican Republic and Iceland and has completed graduate coursework in Landscape Architecture at The University of Florida.

Julia is an FNGLA Certified Horticultural Professional and has a background in permaculture, hydroponic crop production, and landscape design. She formerly served on the design team at Tierra De Vida / Clint Marshall Landscapes.
